Cristiano Ronaldo has said he will not be moving away from United in the summer and has vowed to repay Manchester United for having faith in him and supporting him. He has been linked with several teams recently including Juventus.
“United have stood by me and been there for me and I want to repay that,” Ronaldo told the Manchester Evening News.
“They were also the only club that showed 100 percent commitment towards me. They brought me to England and tried to make me a better player and they have worked hard. ”
“There is nobody else who could make me what I am now and I am really thankful. I will repay the faith.”
The Carling Cup Final on Sunday will be the first major match he has played in without his Dad watching.
“Obviously it has been really hard to take since my father died,” added Ronaldo.
“Psychologically it was very tough and you are bound to take it onto the pitch whether you like it or not.
“I know he won’t be there on Sunday and that will be tough to take. But he will be with me in my heart. I will think about him and I would like to win it for him.”
As well as having to deal with the tragic death of his Dad he had to deal with being falsely accused of raping someone.

He was clapped by all the United fans and most of the Liverpool fans – there were some Liverpool fans who booed and also sang some sick songs which was a real shame and really low. There are also
