Waster!

Thursday, March 23rd, 2006

Pete Doherty has pleaded guilty to possessing heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis in court today. After the hearing there were problems outside and Radio 1 reporter had her microphone kicked out of her hand by him. It left her bruised. He then tried to get away and sort of jumped onto the roof of a car to get into it. He then almost caused an accident.

How he has stayed out of prison is beyond me. He needs help and if he wont accept it they need to throw away the key.

Lip syncing

Thursday, March 23rd, 2006

It seems to be the latest craze on the Internet and everyone seems to be lip syncing now. The first one I saw was the Numa Numa song. I then saw the Chinese Backstreet Boys one (they have done several – viewable on their web site).

I have now seen another load from a couple teenages from Holland called Pomme and Kelly. I think its pretty funny. Well worth checking out. I actually stumbled across there site after seeing their lip sync video on the site Google Idol (which has other lip sync and music videos in some sort of competition).

More Wembley delays!!

Thursday, March 23rd, 2006

WembleyThere are more problems with the construction of the new Wembley stadium. The cost of the stadium has already doubled from the original £325million.

The problem this time is the sewer pipes. Apparently after some ground movement the pipes have moved. This would mean if the toilets were used the water and crap would overflow. Not a pretty sight!! The repairs could take up to 8 months.

A few days ago a rafter collapsed. No one was injured. All the 3500 workers were sent home and it cost the construction company £500,000. The FA Cup is already now been ‘moved’ to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and the England friendlies in May and June against Hungary (May 30) and Jamaica (June 3) will be played at Old Trafford.

Chelsea’s school of diving

Thursday, March 23rd, 2006

TerryChelsea played Newcastle tonight in the FA Cup quarter finals. Chelsea scored right near the start after about 4 minutes from a corner. It was a Terry goal and Newcastle were a little unlucky. Terry shot and Solano deflected the ball in between Given’s leg. If he had not got a touch he may have saved it.

The rest of the 1st half was pretty dull but the 2nd half was better. Newcastle played a lot better but didnt really make any chances. Elliot was sent off right near the end (2 yellow cards) after ‘fouling’ SWP. SWP was running with the ball right towards him and knocked the ball past him. He ran around his but as he went past Elliot he appeared to dive. Elliot in fact seemed to do his best to get out of his way. Although it properly didnt effect the result, it was a shame to see that SWP appears to learning some dirty tactics from his team-mates e.g. Robben. Shearer has accused SWP of diving and Glenn Roeder has said SWP appeared to go to ground easily and that his Dad (Ian Wright) would be disappointed.

Del Horno also had a terrible dive when he wasnt even touched he just seemed to fall over. Scott Parker had a go at him and the ref had to calm things down. Also Drogba also dived once again – he was challenged for the ball and the rolled over about 3 times.

I think if Owen was playing Newcastle could have won. At the end of the Mourinho was not happy with the teams performance. He didnt speak to the media and was shown to rip up his notes LOL.

Maybe now Shearer will wish he joined United. :)
