Last week Dell recalled 4.1m batteries for their laptops. The problem was because of overheating. There are some videos on YouTube of the battery exploding at some exhibition. The batteries are made by Sony and luckily for Dell, Sony are footing the bill. Apple have now recalled 1.8m batteries because if overheating. The batteries for the Apple machines are also made by Sony.
Not a good week or so for Sony (or Dell)
