United lose :(

Monday, September 18th, 2006

United lost there 100% record by losing to Arsenal. We cant win every game but its never a good feeling to lose to Arsenal. From what I have read and seen we didnt play that well but they scored after a mistake by Ronaldo when he gave the ball away. One good thing was that Lehman got the ball smacked in his face when Ronaldo pelted the ball right into his face. It knocked him flat on his back. I will try and find a clip – its was very funny. :) However credit to Lehman for making a fantastic save from Ole’s shot right near the end.

Heres Lehmann getting whacked in the face:

To make things worse Chelsea won. They are now 3rd (we are 2nd) level on points but below us on goal difference. Liverpool were unlucky not to get any points out of the game with Chelsea down to 10 players for most of the 2nd half – Ballack was sent off after stamping Sissoko. However Sissoko was lucky not to get sent off after tripping Lampard. Liverpool were unlucky not to get a penalty after Lampard pushed Gerrard from a corner.

Amazingly Portsmouth are now top of the league with no goals conceded. Many would not have thought it with the aging Sol Campbell in defence and ‘Calamity’ James.

In other football news Hargreaves got injured with a broken leg – maybe Becks will be back in the England squad because Lennon is also not available – he had to have a operation on his knee.

Solskjaer – legend

Sunday, September 17th, 2006

LegendOle Solskjaer has done loads for United. As well as scoring countless goals and of course that Champions League goal he has been a great supporter of the club and clearly loves United and the fans. He could have easily gone to another club to get more games but stuck with United.

He recently said he feels he owes the United manager. He feels he cost Sir Alex the chance of playing a dream Champions League final at Hampden Park v Real Madrid back in 2002.

Ole said: “If I could turn back the clock and change something in my career, I’d go back and change the Champions League semi-final second leg against Leverkusen in 2002.” “Just before the end, the ball bounced in front of me and I hit a left-foot shot that went over the bar.” “That’s one moment I would change, I’d adjust my shot.” “It’s the one moment that has haunted me the most in my career.”

Cashley Cole …. grow up!! Stop the moaning!

Sunday, September 17th, 2006

More details have been revealed about the whole Cashley Cole deal with extracts from his book in the paper.

The main one which really annoys me is that the club apparently agreed to pay him £60,000 a week but then was told that it would only be £55k. He apparently takes the call while driving and almosts swerves off the road.

Is £55k not enough for you you greedy b*stard!! I guess £2.6m a year is not enough! Grow up and just play football. The games so far hes played for Chelsea hes been rubbish!

In other riduculous football money stuff Ballack has said London is too expensive and cant afford a house. Admittedly he wants to massive house etc but come on!!!! You earn £130,000 a week!!! It would take me SEVERAL years to earn that and you earn it in 1 WEEK!!! You could be doing nothing in a week.

Nice one Branson!! LOL

Sunday, September 17th, 2006

Richard Branson held a party for his son and invited Paris Hilton. Why would you invite her!! Anyway, he found out that Paris Hilton was going to wear some Alice in Wonderland. She just wanted to be the centre of attention. Branson found out and he got the waitresses to dress as Alice and apparently deliberately mistaking her for one of the staff and asking her to get him a drink.

Vista

Sunday, September 17th, 2006

Not been blogging for a few days. Been tired and feeling unwell. I got the latest version of Microsoft Vista a few days ago. Its up to version RC1 (release candidate 1). It is going to be the next version if Windows and will be out in a month or so. I had Beta 2 of Vista a month or so again and it was disappointing. It was rather slow!! So far version RC1 is pretty good – its a lot faster and most things work (it has lots of drivers). One thing that doesnt work is the memory card slot. Also the sound doesnt sound that good – I think done to the lack of Toshiba Sound support and maybe the drivers used for the sound card are not quite right.
