Bit late to comment on this but anyway….

Ronaldo signed a new deal 5 year deal last week. Brilliant news. He is the best player in the world at the moment and is so important to United.

Not been posting about football for abit. In fact I cant be bothered to watch England play anymore!!

Anyway, to better football – to United. United played Roma tonight at Old Trafford and were 2-1 down on aggregate. They had the important away goal and a 1-0 win would have been enough. However it didnt happen like that. United totally thrased Roma 7-1!!! Pretty much all the goals were great. Smith took his goal well. There was a brilliant finish for both his goals for Carrick, especially his 2nd. I could go on…. All the without Scholes, Vidic, Neville, Saha and Park!!

Everyone played brilliantly!! Ronaldo as usual was great. Fletcher did really well. Giggs was fantastic. Smith really did well and got stuck in. Rooney did great – playing in his usual European left side position. Everyone did great!! (Well maybe except Richardson who a) came on as a relatively late sub, b) didnt do that much c) is sh*t).

Roma may have been poor but that takes nothing away from this amazing scintillating United performance. Fergie said it was the greatest in his 20 year reign.

Before the game there were problems with some fans. It wasnt anything like last week when Roma police completely over-reacted to United fans. However it was only a minority of the ‘so-called’ fans. Inside the stadium there was no problems. I have just watching on the news that one Roma fan decided to go back to the hotel rather than go in the stadium cause he was scared. It was properly a good job he didnt go in with the mauling Roma suffered!! Watching the news before the game a lot of the trouble seemed to be coming from people dressed all in black and nothing with United colours. It could have been just trouble makers who were not United fans and maybe not even football fans. Anyway, United took revenge in the best way, on the pitch!!

In the other leg, Chelsea scored right at the end and are into the Semis with the next round likely to be against Liverpool. That could mean 3 English teams in Semi Final. In some ways I didnt want Chelsea to win. However I did in a little way because it means they have to play some number of games as us and sets up a great tie v Liverpool.

Spiderman 3 looks like its going to be brilliant. Also the latest Die Hard (called Live Free or Die Hard) and Oceans 11 (called Oceans 13) look really good aswell.

Some great April Fool tricks here – there is also a good video showing how stupid some Americans are. For example, one guy though there was 10 Eiffel towers!!!! and another thought Star Wars was based on a true story!!!! LOL
