Some guy in America went into a shop and handed in a job application. He then pulled out a knife and robbed the store. However, his job application had his real name and address!!!

Wasnt too hard to find him!!

I went Go Karting on Sunday at the Speedkarting place in Warrington. Its the 3rd time I have been go karting and was great fun. First time I went karting was in Daytona in Manchester. It was awhile ago. We didnt do the grand prix event and was a endurance event and shared a cart with someone else. The 2nd time was in Speedkarting but was on the small track – I came 4th but got the fastest lap time.

This time it was the big main track and was the 3 tier one – apparently the only one in the UK! Once again I came 4th (out of 20 people). No fastest lap this time. It was 5 heats of 3.5 laps to gain points. The starting position was random – I managed to win one of the heats. In the final rest (the top 10 drivers) I started in 7th (and ended up in 4th). I mainly passed when people made mistakes. The track was pretty good but at some points REALLY bumpy!! I was bouncing out of the seat abit!!

Well United played Chelsea on Saturday. A huge game and if United won we would have won the league. By saying “if” I think you can gather United didnt win For some reason Fergie decided to rest a few players (obviously with Barcelona in mind) – e.g. No Ronaldo, No Tevez. However this was arguably the biggest league game of the season.

We played really poor in the 1st half (it didnt help when Vidic went off injured when he Drogba kneed Vidic’s face – it was an accident and they were both just going for the ball. He cut his lip and lost a tooth) but improved a lot in the 2nd after scoring. However that wasnt difficult!! The ref didnt have the best game and seemed to be giving loads of freekicks to Chelsea for nothing after United made good challenges and tackles. I think United should have had at least 1 penalty – such as when Ballack was almost wrestling Ronaldo. Also Drogba was diving all over the place – hes such a good player why does he do it! One great moment was after Chelski got a freekick and Drogba and Ballack were arguing about who to take it – very funny. Drogba continued for awhile and had a go at some Chelsea staff.

Ballack scored both Chelsea goals including a last minute penalty. The final score being 2-1 to them When Chelsea scored they had a special shirt which had Pat Lampard on. She is Frank Lampard’s Mum who died recently. RIP. That was a nice touch.

United players were harranging the ref abit during the match – which wasnt good to see. It was overall just not a good day when after the match when United were warming down and got in to a confrontation with Chelsea stewards.

Its not 100% what happened with all sorts of stories. More details I am sure will be known soon.

It apparently cost £14,000 to create (how come these re-brandings cost so much!!) but unfortunately the designers did not turn the logo on its side.

The logo, which was for the Office of Government Commerce, was to signify a bold commitment to the OGC aims to of “improving value for money by driving up standards and capability in procurement”.

Joe Calzaghe beat Hopkins early on Sunday morning in his first match in US. He won by a split decision. I didnt watch the match but have seen highlights. Hopkins didnt take the result too well – typical bad loser going on about how he took Calzaghe “to school”.

The judges scored: 114-113 to Hopkins, 115-112 and 116-111 to Calzaghe. Pretty close!!

In football United drew 1-1 against Blackburn. They always do well against us and Friedal always seems to play brilliantly against us. Once again he was brilliant with some amazing saves. Thankfully Tevez got an equaliser with a few minutes to go. It now means its still in our hands and we can still lose to Chelsea and if we beat WIgan and West Ham we win the title.

There could still be some twists and turns especially with United playing in Europe too – Barcelona on Wednesday!!!

I have been watching the Apprentice on BBC1 this year – I think its in its 4th series. I watched some of the first series and then little bits of the 2nd and 3rd but not really catching it as I always forgot it was on!

However now there is the BBC iPlayer which means I can watch it whenever I want (well as long as its within about 7 days since its been on). Its brilliant!! Some of the other channels have got similar things but it doesnt seem to have taken off quite as much as the iPlayer (Channel 4 have 4OD which is not too bad but it seems sometimes part of the software crashes so it doesnt work for me properly. ITV have a service called Catch Up but it doesnt seem to work very well either).

Anyway, back to the reason I decided to post. I have come to realise that the Apprentice now is not really about picking the creme de la creme of the business world to work for Sir Alan Sugar. I think most are just trying to get on TV and get some career as some reality TV star. Based on the episodes so far such as running a pub, a dry cleaning business and a photo service they are mostly (if not all) rubbish!! In the dry cleaning one for example one idea they came up with was to charge £4.99 per item, no matter if its a pillowcase or a duvet. It meant an order for a hotel was £4999. The hotel normally paid about £200. She tried to make it sound even better by saying it included a 24 hr hotline. WHAT!!!! Do you normally drop off your laundry and then want to call them up a midnight to see how they are washing!?!? This week in the photo task one team had a David Beckham looklike and you could take photos with him and then have it on things like cups and mouse-mats. However they had problems with the printing and eventually managed it – somehow!!

They had given Lucinda the task to get the photos from the memory card to the computer and then print it but she couldnt do it and said was not technical at all etc – however they gave her that job The project manager Helene wasnt much better just going on about she had been given a job and get on with it and she was even less technical. However it was just copying files from a flash key to a computer!!

One other thing: The photos were being printed on normal A4 paper and people were being charged £15!!!! They didnt seem to complain either!! (Although apparently online there is some un-seen footage of some woman complaining). Dear me!!!

Well I have registered another domain – websitedesigncritic.com. I am thinking of doing another blog but it will be taking a different web site every day/week/month and passing my opinion (for what its worth) on it whether its been designed well, whether its got nice valid code and so on.

Heskey scored a late equaliser against Chelsea tonight, the game ending 1-1. It now looks even more likely United will win the league.

(However lets not count our chickens and all that – its a funny old game football as they say and we have not won anything yet).

A man left a £180,000 on the train and is offering a £10,000 reward for it. He apparently left it in the overhead luggage rack and realised when he got off the train. Personally I wouldnt want to leave such a precious thing in some luggage rack – I would strap it to myself and guard it for dear life!!

However I hope he gets it back
