I missed the latest eviction last night as I was out. I have seen various clips and watched some of the Big Brother show tonight and she was seriously booed. Turns out she got about 94%!!! That was between 3 people aswell. Everyone seemed really shocked – I think a big reason for her being so “hated” was how rude she was to Mikey in the Michael Jackson challenge. She also came across as really spoilt and selfish. Hopefully Rex will be the next person to go. Maybe they will become one of the most hated couple in the UK. Rex and Nicole really seem like a nightmare couple always arguing. In her eviction interview Nicole said they were like that in “real life” arguing and making up every minute of the day.

Nicole’s out!!
Saturday, August 23rd, 2008Gary Glitter …. lock him up!
Friday, August 22nd, 2008Gary Glitter is finally back in England after being refused entry into Thailand and Hong Kong. Now that hes in the UK he should not be able to run away from justice. What annoys me more is that he doesnt show any signs of regret and remorse and is just smiling away and playing up to the camera and media.
It was on the news showing him flying back from Thailand to the UK. He was in upper-class and had a security official of some sort sat next to him. Why couldnt he be put in economy class!!! I hope the UK tax payers didnt pay for his ticket!! (Apparently he also had foie gras. He normal aeroplane chicken/beef and potatos!!)
The sprint kings!

Jamaica have won the 4×100 metre in a new world record time of 37.10. The team had the man of the moment running in the 3rd leg and the great Asafa Powell running in the 4th and final leg. It was a great performance by the Jamaicans.
(If you watch the video you will see after Bolt passes the baton to Powell and is “jogging” hes not that much slower than the others. In fact he crossed the finish line before one team/country – although they must have had problems and dropped the baton along the way).
Oh shut up you fool!!

The boss of the Olympics Jacques Rogge has said that Usain Bolt should show more respect and not showboat. Come on!!! He has lit up the Olympic games especially the athletics which until he did that amazing 100 metres had yet to really get going. People want some personality, some excitement. Not just people running and then shaking hands. I am surprised someone in his position has something like this. Maybe he wasnt in the Birds Nest and didnt see his races and is abit bitter???
During the 100 metre final, Bolt celebrated before the end of the race. Everyone in the world was amazed and loved it. Except it seems Rogge. He has said “That’s not the way we perceive being a champion”.
“I’ve no problem with him doing a show. But I think he should show more respect and shake hands after the finish.” Rogge said Bolt should “not make gestures like the one he made in the 100m”. “He might have interpreted that in another way, but the way it was perceived was ‘catch me if you can.’ You don’t do that. But he’ll learn. He’s still a young man.”
It was just you Rogge. Even the men Bolt beat were not bothered. The man who finished silver, Shawn Crawford, told reporters: “I love watching him when he does his thing.
In other Olympics news, there has been more disasters in the various relays. It seems in every race, there is a mess up by some of the top teams such as USA, GB and Jamaica. You would think that with something so important they would sort out transferring a batton from one person to another right!! As I write this now the Team GB woman team have messed up the 4 x 100 metre final. Also earlier on, in the womans BMX final, the favourite from GB (Shanaze Reade) was in 2nd place in the final but on the final bend she hit the leader and fell. She ended up injuring herself and I think she has broke her hand. It turns out that the British Cycling spent £30,000 on building a replica of the track so she could practice on it. It seemed to have worked as Shanaze was the best of all the riders at the start – the unusually very high start ramp. Was it worth that £30,000!?!?
Also some breaking news and some more controversy, after yesterdays disqualification of the Blonska, there is news about a problem with the gymnastics. There are apparently discrapancies in records and it seems that some of the China gymnasts may only be 14 (the minimum age is 16). We will have to see what happens…..
Another cock up!
Friday, August 22nd, 2008Another month passes and it seems another government story about losing important data. This time the details of thousands of criminals was lost – it was on a memory stick – apparently it was “mislaid”.
After apparently saying they are improving security etc this happens. The memory stick had a security lock which would have prevented someone unauthorised from viewing the data. However it was turned off!!!
The home secretary Jacqui Smith has blamed a private contractor. Who to believe????…..
Apparently if compensation is to be given it will be the tax payer who has to pay!
