The US Presidential race continues and the 2 candidates are starting to have a go at one another. To be honest I have not really paid much attention since its in another country and everything but I am personally just glad that George W Bush will no longer be in power.
The latest to come out from America is controversy about McCain and his housing “status”. Someone asked McCain “How many houses do you have?” Amazingly he answered “‘I’m not sure, I’ll have to check with my staff,’” WHAT!!!!!
What Obama had to say about this was: “If you don’t know how many houses you have, then it’s not surprising that you might think the economy is fundamentally strong.” (It turns out he owns 7 houses).
However the McCain camp has fought back with a McCain spokesman saying about Obama: “Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses?”
However, I think the thing which is a serious negative to McCain’s campaign is that George W Bush endorses McCain for president.
