Weekend games

RonaldoThis weekends Premier League games bought with it lots of goals. United beat Hull 4-3 and it was a lot closer in the end than it should have been. United were cruising at 4-1 but defensive mistakes let Hull back in. It was a good chance for United to increase the goal difference but once again the 2nd half performance was not as good as the first. Fergie wasnt happy with the score-line. Chelsea now have a much better goal difference.

At least United are creating lots of chances and Ronaldo is hitting some good form. He missed some games at the start of the season and had a slow(ish) start when he returned to the team but he has not scored more goals in this season, than this time last season!! Also Berbatov looks like he is fitting into the United team really nicely. His first touch and passing is amazing. I feel abit sorry for Tevez who has only played 2-3 games this season and always puts in 100% effort. Hes a big favourite with United fans and I hope he stays.

Chelsea continued their great form by beating Sunderland 5-0. They really are playing some great football and arguably in Frank Lampard have the player of the season so far.

In the other games involving the “big four”, Arsenal lost again -  losing 2-1 to Stoke. Both of Stoke’s goals came from Rory Delap’s amazing long throws. To make it worse for Arsenal, Walcott got injured (with an apparent serious shoulder injury) and Van Persie was stupidly sent off for a mad “challenge” on the keeper. Liverpool also lost. They lost to a late goal against Tottenham. Since Harry Redknapp became Spurs manager he really does seem to have the luck!! Liverpool lost 2-1.

With all these goals, its really helped my fantasy football team. This week was 74 points. Its been a good few weeks with 70, 80 and now 74 points (a 35 and 48 point gameweek in there somewhere).
