Here are some of my photos from a day out trip to Liverpool with some friends.
Left Manchester quite early (10.30 ish) and got to Liverpool. Had some lovely food at a buffet. Moved onto a bar (don't know name - it was near ChinaTown). After that we walked to the Albert Dock area - it was really sunny. Took some pics there. Then went to Blue Bar in Albert Dock and had some drinks. Then headed to resturant near the train station - called Ask i think - nice Italian place. Mmmm.
Got on train back to Manchester which had all sorts of probs. Left on time but b4 getting half way to Warrington - it just stopped - was stopped for 1 and half hours if not more. Not sure what was happening. Not too clear. Was tempted to jump off at the little station we were at. In the end turned around , as some lorry hit bridge or something. Then once in station was told to get back on the same train after getting off - and from Liverpool it ended up taking 30 minutes to Manchester (normally takes more like 50 minutes) - some special route or something?!?! Then finally at home at it was nearly midnight - almost 3 and a half hours on the train!! Still it was alright - could have been a lot worse. We passed the time talking about old children TV programs (they dont make them like they used to! ), completed the worlds easiest crossword, ...
