While in Milan we went round the usual shops, a few of us went to the San Siro football stadium and then pretty much all of us went to Lake Como. I went with a group of friends and friends of friends so it was good meeting some new people. Some people I had only spoken to online.
UPDATE (14th August 2003): Some more links to more photos.

Holiday did not start in the best way with suitcase stolen from the coach. Luckily had insurance and it was only clothes, but was in police station till around 1am. Waited for ages, and then the slight language problem but it was OK. The next day, just bought loads of shorts and tshirts, as we went round all the shops inc. the likes of Gucci and Armani - (we were the only people walking in and they were just staring at us all in our shorts and tshirts!!) Went to the San Siro stadium in the afternoon where Inter Milan and AC Milan play. We walked the wrong way an an extra 40 minutes walking in the boiling heat. I won't say who is to blame. Then in the evening had a lovely Spaghetti with Seafood (Crayfish, Mussels, etc). Sunday was at Lake Como where some of us split up and just wondered around. We then all met up in the evening and ate and drank more. Unfortunately we had to get up early for the plane in the morning - flight was at 11.30 so it meant getting up at around 7.30.
Now back in Manchester, expecting the temperature to be a lot cooler than Milan. Not the case - it was around 40C in Milan, and its around 30C in Manchester.
