Last night, Rubens Barrichello was the latest F1 driver to drive the original car.

He looked quick and it was. He beat The Stig’s time by 0.1 seconds. :D . Off the top of my head his time was 1:44.1. All the F1 drivers have been very close (Button, Mansell, Hamilton, Webber – his time was done in the wet)and the most impressive is still properly Lewis Hamilton with a time I think of 1:44.7 but it was in the wet. I am happy Rubens is the fastest – a top bloke!

They basically had to get from the South of Vietnam to the North in 8 days. These challenges are never really about the vehicles (cars, bikes,…) but more about the three of them messing about, taking the mic out of one another. For this challenge they ended up getting bikes (since cars are really expensive in Vietnam). It was a great challenge … I mean how hard can it be!!! It was extremely funny (as usual).

The show showed Vietnam to be a really beautiful country with gorgeous scenary, lovely food, friendly people….. I am sure a lot of people will go to Vietnam after watching this episode of Top Gear. The Vietnam Tourist Board should thank Top Gear!
